Lonesome Grave Project, November 2019

The Lonesome Grave Project is sponsored by the Kaua'i Hongwanji Council.  Its purpose is to decorate all of the graves at the Kaua'i Veterans Cemetery at Hanapepe to honor all veterans who have fought for and defended our way of life and our freedoms.  Because of the Lonesome Grave Project, there are no "lonesome graves" at the Veterans Cemetery for the service held on Veterans Day.

Lonesome Grave was held this year on Sunday, November 10 at the Kaua'i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.  A short service was followed by decorating the graves with flowers and greenery.  So many volunteers showed up to help decorate.  We appreciate everyone's help.

With much Gratitude.
